Caboolture is a non-controlled airfield in the Redcliffe/Caloundra CTAF.

There are no landing fees, to be passed on to training pilots. The aerodrome is situated in the training area, and so there is no wasted travel time.

It is handy to Brisbane International Airport, Maroochydore (non-radar CTR) and Coolangatta (radar CTR), with Amberley and Oakey military aerodromes close by. This gives a great variety of aerodromes available for instrument approach practice.

The equable climate allows flying most days of the year, and the proximity to pleasant Sunshine Coast Resorts is a bonus for pilots coming to Caboolture for advanced training courses. A variety of accommodation outlets provide for all budgets and requirements.

Pilots staying in Caboolture for the duration of full time training courses will be offered a complimentary courtesy car for their stay.
